FYI: I will be unavailable again on Friday.
#597, by Deadpool on Tue 11 Aug 2009, 02:32 pm

Six String Samurai and Twilight with Rifftrax.
#596, by arby on Sat 08 Aug 2009, 01:43 pm

I can host, though I have not got an attendance confirmation from anyone.

I will be out and about running errands today. If anyone plans to show up before 7, call first.
#595, by Deadpool on Tue 04 Aug 2009, 10:33 pm

Alright is Saturday cool then?
#594, by arby on Tue 04 Aug 2009, 06:12 pm

Keep in mind that it won't be at my house because I won't be there. :)
#593, by Deadpool on Mon 03 Aug 2009, 05:58 am

This Friday, stuff for sure, Juan is getting a movie, someone else feel free to provide the second feature.
#592, by arby on Fri 31 Jul 2009, 05:17 pm

So I guess no Stuff.
#591, by Matt on Thu 30 Jul 2009, 08:29 pm

Well, if there is Stuff, all I can say is I won't make it.
#590, by arby on Thu 30 Jul 2009, 05:09 pm

So, this week: Stuff or no Stuff?
#589, by Deadpool on Thu 16 Jul 2009, 06:05 am

Friday 7:00 PM Arby's house!
#588, by arby on Wed 15 Jul 2009, 04:41 pm

Bring it on.
#587, by Deadpool on Wed 15 Jul 2009, 06:03 am

Cool, I'm assuming Rob's place, if he's okay with it I mean.
#586, by wildfire on Wed 15 Jul 2009, 01:13 am

I have a movie that would fit the bill. I will be willing and able on Friday.
#585, by Matt on Tue 14 Jul 2009, 03:25 pm

I won't be making anything this week either.
#584, by Deadpool on Tue 14 Jul 2009, 08:09 am

Well last week's thing was a complete dud, let's shoot for a flick friday, Arthur has a selection from the Dolph Lundgren library lined up. My internet service is on the fritz so I can't talk to anyone on skype.
#583, by arby on Sat 11 Jul 2009, 03:43 pm

I think it's canceled due to lack of interest.
#582, by Matt on Sat 11 Jul 2009, 12:31 am

Man, you could totally parse that last clause the complete wrong way...
#581, by Matt on Sat 11 Jul 2009, 12:30 am

85% I'm out. I may *possibly* be free at some point in the later evening (8-9p)... but that's only a slight possibility so I'm going to just say 'nope' for me, and in the off-chance I get lucky I'll pop in if there's something going on.
#580, by arby on Fri 10 Jul 2009, 01:11 pm

So are we planning something for Saturday, or is everyone busy?
#579, by viper on Thu 09 Jul 2009, 10:10 pm

they give you some great stuff to knock you out afterwards. I got mine done about mid-day and slept all the way through to morning.
#578, by wildfire on Thu 09 Jul 2009, 12:08 pm

Well, I will be getting Lasik Friday morning. So I highly doubt I will be making it to movie night...
#577, by Deadpool on Wed 08 Jul 2009, 06:14 am

So I guess it's a movie then, place to be determined. Let's see some brainstorming you bunch of chicken babies, CHEEP CHEEP CHEEP CHEEP
#576, by Matt on Tue 07 Jul 2009, 07:08 pm

Okay, I have come to the realization that I have to meet furniture deliveries and the ATT guy and all that crazy shit, not to mention the mechanics of getting the office itself going right after the Friday close. I *will not* be available to run a session at all this weekend due to all of that. Life is insane.
#575, by Deadpool on Mon 06 Jul 2009, 11:35 pm

Saturday is good for me.
#574, by Matt on Mon 06 Jul 2009, 05:59 pm

I'm closing Friday, so there's a 0% chance I can do it then. Saturday could work though. What say you all?
#573, by Deadpool on Mon 06 Jul 2009, 01:49 pm

Alright lets get things lined up for Friday if everyone is alright with that. I'm down for the RPG or a couple of movies.
#572, by Deadpool on Sun 28 Jun 2009, 11:45 am

You guys are tearing me apart!!!
#571, by wildfire on Sun 28 Jun 2009, 04:26 am

oh hi, Arthur, have I ever mentioned how beautiful your chicken sounds was?
#570, by .aero on Sun 28 Jun 2009, 01:25 am

oh hi guys how's it going?

CHEEP CHEEP CHEEP CHEEP CHEEP.
#569, by wildfire on Sat 27 Jun 2009, 12:37 pm

Oh hi, Jason.
#568, by satan on Sat 27 Jun 2009, 01:23 am

Oh hi, Yaysoft.
#567, by Deadpool on Fri 26 Jun 2009, 06:04 am

The Room yes! I've been dying to see that. I suggest not listening to rifftrax at least in the first viewing.

Eating as group sounds foine.
#566, by Matt on Fri 26 Jun 2009, 01:12 am

Ok, so the plan is 7pm @ Rob's and we'll eat as a group, either before or after the movie?
#565, by wildfire on Fri 26 Jun 2009, 12:29 am

i am not looking forward to them. I was not impressed with what I heard on the site.
#564, by .aero on Thu 25 Jun 2009, 03:54 pm

Jason and Baylee have suggested "The Room" with Rifftrax.

I'm not so sure how well the Rifftrax will go over, as we're usually Riffing pretty heavily during movies anyhow, but I'm looking forward to it nonetheless.
#563, by Deadpool on Thu 25 Jun 2009, 09:33 am

Although I still have my box set of grindhouse movies.
#562, by Deadpool on Thu 25 Jun 2009, 08:44 am

Friday sounds good, I have no movies at this time so someone else will have to bring some.
#561, by arby on Thu 25 Jun 2009, 07:31 am

Friday or Saturday.
#560, by arby on Thu 25 Jun 2009, 07:31 am

Yes, we can movie at my place if you would like.
#559, by Matt on Thu 25 Jun 2009, 01:31 am

I've been hemming and hawing about this for a while, because I don't want to go 3 weeks without a session, but the bottom line is that I have too much shit going on with getting the new office setup for me to be able to run a session this week. Sorry.
#558, by Matt on Mon 22 Jun 2009, 01:46 pm

Fourth of July weekend is out for me, for sure.
#557, by Deadpool on Mon 22 Jun 2009, 12:41 pm

I see, in that case festivities at Juan's House will be postponed till further notice. Not to sound presumptuous but I'm assuming Rob's place is available for this Friday. My place probably won't be internet ready for a few weeks, maybe if folks aren't too busy something can be arranged for the fourth of July weekend.
#556, by Matt on Mon 22 Jun 2009, 12:26 pm

Actually, yes. That would be a problem.
#555, by Deadpool on Mon 22 Jun 2009, 06:45 am

Also I hope lack of internet access isn't a problem, if it is I can postpone till I have my cable set up.
#554, by Matt on Thu 18 Jun 2009, 07:18 pm

I'll agree to that. Don't post your address information publicly. This site is going to be hidden under lock-and-key for just us in the very near future, so wait until then to tell us how to get there.
#553, by Deadpool on Thu 18 Jun 2009, 03:38 pm

Incidentally since there’s no session this week I would like to hold the following week's session at my house. As I mentioned I live next to the West Houson airport.
#552, by Deadpool on Thu 18 Jun 2009, 03:28 pm

*You walk into a room, you open a locker and are crushed by an avalanche of bottlecaps, you die soon after."
#551, by texaspete on Thu 18 Jun 2009, 03:15 pm

Than I shall only grant you 10 levels and 100k bottle caps. haha
#550, by arby on Thu 18 Jun 2009, 10:45 am

Matt might not appreciate it when the next session we're all level 20 with 1 meelion bottlecaps.
#549, by texaspete on Thu 18 Jun 2009, 08:18 am

Guess no one liked that idea....
#548, by texaspete on Wed 17 Jun 2009, 08:26 am

In later news, Steven will be GM'ing the YRPG this Saturday. :-)
#547, by Matt on Tue 16 Jun 2009, 05:51 pm

Nein. I'm going to have to call it off for this week with way too much going on in setting up the office.
#546, by Deadpool on Tue 16 Jun 2009, 11:37 am

Everyone cool for Friday or Saturday? Preferably Saturday.
#545, by Matt on Sat 13 Jun 2009, 04:17 pm

(not to be confused with the "Dessert Ghost")
#544, by Matt on Sat 13 Jun 2009, 04:17 pm

Correction: The raiders call Karen and Lucy the "Desert Ghost". They don't know that there are people behind it, the raiders just know that entire bands of them have been dying at what appears to be the hands of ghosts.
#543, by Matt on Sat 13 Jun 2009, 03:49 pm

Arthur has posted the summary for the last session.
#542, by Matt on Fri 12 Jun 2009, 05:01 pm

Done.
#541, by texaspete on Fri 12 Jun 2009, 04:56 pm

I was hoping too. Can someone give me the address or tell Paul to come get me?
#540, by Matt on Fri 12 Jun 2009, 03:50 pm

So are you coming or not, Steven?
#539, by texaspete on Fri 12 Jun 2009, 02:27 pm

I can always make something up :-)
#538, by Matt on Fri 12 Jun 2009, 01:34 pm

In Juan's absence, this also means we will need someone to step into the shoes of "session scribe" this week. Volunteers accepted.
#537, by Matt on Fri 12 Jun 2009, 01:33 pm

What Deadpool did there was combine a reassurance to you about us not hating you (we don't. I wouldn't let you in on the session if people hated you, and you're always welcome to come to the sessions whenever you like, as I have said many times) with his excuse for likely missing the session in the same paragraph, so it came off odd.

Don't worry about the session Juan! Congratulations to your sister, and good luck! And get better. Do not show up and get the rest of us sick. For that matter, you may want to stay away from the freshly extruded baby matter if you're sick.

Hopefully that hotel Jaylee stayed in last time has an opening this week. Otherwise... hey, the worst scenario is you reroll.
#536, by texaspete on Fri 12 Jun 2009, 12:33 pm

Huh
#535, by Deadpool on Fri 12 Jun 2009, 11:36 am

Nobody hates you texaspete. It is the perfect storm of excuses for me, my sister is having a baby today, so I have to pick up my folks from the airport, and I am as sick as a dog. I'll try and go after I'm done to catch the tail end of the session, but I wouldn't count on it.
#534, by texaspete on Fri 12 Jun 2009, 06:08 am

I might me able to make it this time....I know you all hate me!
#533, by .aero on Thu 11 Jun 2009, 01:23 pm

Don't worry, we can absorb the death with Jason and baylee

#532, by Matt on Wed 10 Jun 2009, 05:15 pm

oh, and I didn't say this earlier, but thank you for the summary Juan. Good job, per usual (except the names, per usual ;)

I find it funny that is the shortest summary and also in terms of time spent fucking around to time spent RPing we had a lot of that, but when actually "in game" you guys got a heck of a lot of tangible stuff done. I'm proud of you.

Time to die.
#531, by Matt on Wed 10 Jun 2009, 05:14 pm

Yes, Friday at 730
#530, by Deadpool on Wed 10 Jun 2009, 12:11 pm

Everybody 'aight for Friday?
#529, by Deadpool on Tue 09 Jun 2009, 06:07 am

I see, you forgot to tell me where the library was though.
#528, by Matt on Tue 09 Jun 2009, 02:30 am

Lester? cerca, pero no cigarro (o cerveza). Tank (el pequeño) y Eugene (el grande).
#527, by Deadpool on Mon 08 Jun 2009, 08:23 am

Recap posted.
#526, by Deadpool on Mon 08 Jun 2009, 06:09 am

Were the two guys named Tank and Lester?
#525, by Matt on Fri 05 Jun 2009, 01:14 pm

It looks like I'm doing better, so the session should proceed as normal.
#524, by viper on Fri 05 Jun 2009, 11:27 am

Just get a giant megaphone.
#523, by Deadpool on Fri 05 Jun 2009, 07:49 am

Or you could use some kind of text to speech technology.
#522, by Deadpool on Fri 05 Jun 2009, 06:26 am

I'll bring some flicks just in case.
#521, by Matt on Fri 05 Jun 2009, 01:08 am

Well, I have a throat issue and I can't talk. I woke up today with it and hoped it was going to get better over the course of the day, and the opposite has happened.

I'm taking vitamins and medicine and I plan to sleep in tomorrow in the hopes that this clears up.

I don't want to cancel, but we should have a potential backup plan just in case.
#520, by wildfire on Wed 03 Jun 2009, 03:18 pm

cool
#519, by matt on Tue 02 Jun 2009, 01:16 pm

Friday, 730 @ Bob Mcafee's
#518, by Deadpool on Tue 02 Jun 2009, 11:34 am

Alright Friday it is.
#517, by arby on Tue 02 Jun 2009, 10:00 am

Better than Ezra concert on Saturday! ^_^
#516, by Deadpool on Tue 02 Jun 2009, 09:44 am

Is Saturday good for people? Friday is not out of the question for me, but Saturday would be better.
#515, by .aero on Mon 01 Jun 2009, 03:23 pm

No objections from me. I'm looking forward to seeing you folks again after several cancelled weekends.
#514, by Deadpool on Mon 01 Jun 2009, 12:55 pm

YRPG Friday, place to be determined, most likely Rob's. Any objections, comments?
#513, by .aero on Wed 27 May 2009, 09:41 am

I blame texaspete.
#512, by texaspete on Wed 27 May 2009, 01:25 am

I can blame it on anyone...doesn't mean I'm right . :-)
#511, by Matt on Tue 26 May 2009, 02:53 pm

Alright, then the "no's" have it. (I'm counting A, J, B as 3 no's, obviously)

Next week!

And you can't blame me this time!
#510, by Deadpool on Tue 26 May 2009, 02:44 pm

I vote to skip this week.
#509, by Matt on Tue 26 May 2009, 02:11 pm

Friday is possible, but with half the contingent gone it might be best to postpone.

I'm okay either way but we should make the call soon, because if we run a session with <1/2 the group I'd rather non-major plot material.
#508, by Deadpool on Tue 26 May 2009, 11:40 am

Juan is sorry to hear that, is a Friday session possible or should we postpone to next week?
#507, by satan on Tue 26 May 2009, 10:47 am

Arthur, Baylee and Jason will be out of town for the entire weekend as well. Jason apologizes for the inconvenience.
#506, by Deadpool on Tue 26 May 2009, 10:39 am

I hope we can have a session this Friday as Juan will be out of town Saturday.
#505, by Matt on Tue 19 May 2009, 09:37 pm

No session this week due to the holiday weekend and the associated goings-on that will occupy me every day.

#504, by Matt on Tue 19 May 2009, 12:19 pm

Chet Whetstone and his wife Anne Sandstone
#503, by Deadpool on Tue 19 May 2009, 07:45 am

Recap is finished.
#502, by Deadpool on Tue 19 May 2009, 07:08 am

I will however need the names of the other people from the Church of Fluffy.
#501, by Matt on Mon 18 May 2009, 07:22 pm

Great job so far, J-Boz!
#500, by Deadpool on Mon 18 May 2009, 12:10 pm

Never mind it's Miguel, I just remembered.
#499, by Deadpool on Mon 18 May 2009, 10:26 am

Also what was the name of the Scientist guy we met in the Slaver town.
#498, by Deadpool on Mon 18 May 2009, 08:42 am

First part of the recap has been posted.
#497, by satan on Sat 16 May 2009, 06:04 pm

We'll probably be late tonight guys, sorry. But not more than 2 hours, we think :)
#496, by Matt on Thu 14 May 2009, 08:30 pm

Okay, Saturday at 7 at Rob's place.
#495, by wildfire on Thu 14 May 2009, 08:22 pm

i will be there
#494, by satan on Thu 14 May 2009, 07:58 pm

Jaylee says yes.

I'm setting a reminder now. Otherwise I won't be remindered.
#493, by Matt on Thu 14 May 2009, 06:57 pm

Okay, that makes 3.

I need to know about the Jaylee and the Pauven.

If it's just the 3 we can either NOT have a session, or I can set up a little side-mission thing from the main quest that you guys can tackle as a smaller unit.
#492, by .aero on Thu 14 May 2009, 05:38 pm

Saturday @ 7?

Fine with me.
#491, by Matt on Thu 14 May 2009, 04:48 pm

As for time, it would probably have to be at 7, per usual, just on Saturday instead of Friday.

Besides Juan and Rob, I haven't heard anything, so I'm going to call it off due to lack of interest unless I hear otherwise by tomorrow.
#490, by Deadpool on Wed 13 May 2009, 05:31 pm

Saturday sounds good, it would be cool if we could have a longer session as well.
#489, by Matt on Wed 13 May 2009, 02:54 pm

Well, I was going to say Yes and almost posted to that effect yesterday. However, lunch with The Parental Units changed that, and much to my chagrin I've been co-opted on Friday.

However, in the spirit of things moving again, I am able to host on Saturday if enough people are amenable to doing so. Otherwise I guess we'll have to put it off another week. What say you?
#488, by Deadpool on Tue 12 May 2009, 09:34 pm

So RPG this friday?
#487, by satan on Fri 08 May 2009, 07:26 pm

oops, completely forgot. :/ traffic says it'd be 30 to 45 minutes to get there, so meh.

Sorry. :(
#486, by .aero on Fri 08 May 2009, 06:40 pm

I'll be running a little late.
#485, by Deadpool on Wed 06 May 2009, 08:00 pm

Aight 7:00 pm, friday, Rob's hizzie, DON'T EAT BEFORE GETTING THERE! Or do, whatever floats your boat.
#484, by texaspete on Wed 06 May 2009, 07:23 pm

I will be going so, Paul if you want a Ride Let me know.
#483, by wildfire on Wed 06 May 2009, 06:41 pm

it looks like I will have wheels, so I should be able to make it on friday
#482, by arby on Wed 06 May 2009, 05:00 pm

Friday or Saturday night would be OK.
#481, by arby on Wed 06 May 2009, 04:59 pm

Sounds like you're not ready, so I guess it's my place.
#480, by Deadpool on Wed 06 May 2009, 08:39 am

Cool beans, where are we meeting at then?
#479, by satan on Wed 06 May 2009, 01:13 am

Sounds good, Biology = over.
#478, by Deadpool on Tue 05 May 2009, 09:56 pm

Okay well let's really try for a movie night this friday folks.
#477, by Matt on Tue 05 May 2009, 08:36 pm

I am going to preemptively cancel this week, as there is way too much going on here for me to have a session this weekend.
#476, by Deadpool on Tue 05 May 2009, 11:55 am

YRPG 7:30, place to be named.
#475, by arby on Fri 01 May 2009, 08:29 pm

Sounds like a plan, I'm probably going to be busy anyway.
#474, by Deadpool on Fri 01 May 2009, 03:41 pm

Shit, I don't think I can make it either. I'd pick you up Paul but I'm not going to be near your part of town. Let's cancel for tonight, and reconvene next week for the RPG.
#473, by wildfire on Thu 30 Apr 2009, 11:43 pm

well, now that i have no wheels, unless I can bum a ride from someone, i won't be able to make it.
#472, by Deadpool on Wed 29 Apr 2009, 05:17 am

Looks like if we do have a movie night friday it'll have to be at Arthur's, or maybe Saturday works better for everyone.
#471, by wildfire on Tue 28 Apr 2009, 09:35 pm

lol, very nice
#470, by arby on Tue 28 Apr 2009, 07:12 pm

My office is having a "rock band" friday, so it' won't be at my place. ;)
#469, by Matt on Mon 27 Apr 2009, 03:42 pm

Very austere as always. Thanks Juan-boz.
#468, by Deadpool on Mon 27 Apr 2009, 08:09 am

Actually, I propose that it could have been the cake, which you guys also ingested.
#464, by Matt on Fri 24 Apr 2009, 10:42 am

Costco Pizzas are proven to cause Tummy AIDS in Yaysoftians.
#463, by viper on Fri 24 Apr 2009, 04:55 am

Whats this about costco pizzas?

Personally, I have a papa Murphy's next to my house. =)
#462, by Deadpool on Thu 23 Apr 2009, 05:58 am

You can still however bring Sam's Club pizzas.
#461, by Matt on Wed 22 Apr 2009, 08:35 pm

YRPG @ Rob's Friday 4/24 730pm. Per usual routine. Eat before. Costco pizzas are banned.
#460, by Baylee on Wed 22 Apr 2009, 06:08 pm

Whoops, forgot I hadn't mentioned it yet. My character is Beatrice Goodchild. Also, all this Biology shit is over on the 27th, and we won't have to leave early and miss the awesome stuff because of it anymore!
#459, by texaspete on Tue 21 Apr 2009, 02:16 pm

I figured out my chars name.

Shane Core
#458, by Deadpool on Tue 21 Apr 2009, 11:41 am

Good thing Klanganol didn't know that. Which reminds me people without character names need to get some, Jaylee I'm looking in your direction.
#457, by Matt on Tue 21 Apr 2009, 11:15 am

Good job.

The daughters are Karen and Lucy, and King Ill Dong is named Mark. I didn't give them last names, but I'll make one up now... uh, how about Maneschewitz?
#456, by Deadpool on Tue 21 Apr 2009, 09:00 am

The recap for the last session is completed make sure to check it out. Also this Friday's meeting where and or when?
#455, by Deadpool on Sat 18 Apr 2009, 09:27 pm

I was refering to Paul having his arm replaced with the Mr Handy arm, but yes I did say something like "Yougottabefuckenkiddingmeh!"
#454, by Matt on Sat 18 Apr 2009, 03:05 pm

No, it's not. You said "OH SHIT. YOU HAVE TO BE FUCKING KIDDING ME."

And then Paul's arm got blown off by a land mine.
#453, by Deadpool on Sat 18 Apr 2009, 02:09 pm

That is exactly what I said.
#452, by wildfire on Sat 18 Apr 2009, 12:03 pm

Sweet, well, if I live, at least I have a robotic saw-arm I can try to get grafted to my own.

Silver lining my man, sliver lining...
#451, by Deadpool on Sat 18 Apr 2009, 09:50 am

I was saving Pablo, *cough* after mostly killing him *cough*, I couldn't be bothered to check who was in that room. I had to cauterize the bleeding stump with gunpowder from a shotgun shell. On the plus side now Pablo can be like the one armed boxer.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FiqhSkoEoqU

I'm sorry Paul, but it was hilarious when Matt said "Don't roll below ten" and a nine came up. To boot it was the only time during the night when I actually had to use your character.
#450, by Matt on Sat 18 Apr 2009, 03:05 am

Well, I guess Klanganal is dead too.

#449, by Matt on Sat 18 Apr 2009, 01:15 am

Paul, while now an amputee missing his left arm, has been revived and brought back to 5 total hit points. He's alive but barely stumbling around... and the party just stumbled into the exit room to find 6 Fluffyites aiming rifles at them execution-line style. They yell "HALT" at the party, and we break at this cliffhanger, with a high potential for you all to be shot dead by a sharpshooter.

Thank Juan guys.
#448, by McCloud on Sat 18 Apr 2009, 01:00 am

HAHAHAHAHAHA!
#447, by Matt on Sat 18 Apr 2009, 12:59 am

We have our first character casualty thanks to Juan, who was playing Paul's character.

Juan fumbled the reliability roll for placing a mine, and then rolled high 80s on the fumble chart causing the land mine to detonate in his hand. Paul's character is technically not dead, though his left arm has been blown off, and he is unconscious and needs immediate medical attention or he will die. He sits at -34 hit points. If he loses 6 more, he's dead-dead.
#446, by Matt on Fri 17 Apr 2009, 07:30 pm

A'ight Paul. Take care. If Steven comes, I'll let him play your guy. Keep it in the family.
#445, by wildfire on Fri 17 Apr 2009, 06:49 pm

Grrr, I will have to sit this one out. Weather + personal probs = no fun for Paul.

Anyone can run my toon if they would like for this session. Although, maybe giving him to Juan for any length of time would be a bad thing...
#444, by Matt on Fri 17 Apr 2009, 03:02 pm

CHECK THE LINKS ON THE TOP LEFT. HANDY-DANDY RESOURCES INCLUDING THE PROMISED CHARTS ARE FINALLY LIVE.

I AM NOT THAT MUCH OF A DEADBEAT GM!!!
#443, by texaspete on Fri 17 Apr 2009, 02:21 pm

Yea i thought that i was unarmed but i checked again and realized it was melee
#442, by Matt on Fri 17 Apr 2009, 02:21 pm

Well, melee weapons ARE knives so I think you're okay.
#441, by texaspete on Fri 17 Apr 2009, 01:47 pm

err sorry its melee weapons
#440, by texaspete on Fri 17 Apr 2009, 01:46 pm

Sweet then that's what I would like to do.

Only question tho my main talent is unarmed is there anyway we could change to to knifes?
#439, by Matt on Fri 17 Apr 2009, 01:42 pm

Yes, stealth can play a big role. Donkey-punching could as well, in theory, though it has not been particularly prevalent thus far.
#438, by Matt on Fri 17 Apr 2009, 01:41 pm

Links once again:

1. Firearms book: http://dev.yaysoft.com/CHAR/firearms.pdf (2MB PDF for 144 pages, yay OCR!)

2. Explosives: http://dev.yaysoft.com/CHAR/explosives.pdf (3MB PDF for 5 pages, yay non-OCR!) Grenade users be sure to print the very last page of this one too.

3. Character manager: http://dev.yaysoft.com/CHAR/
#437, by texaspete on Fri 17 Apr 2009, 01:39 pm

Can you be a stealth person in this game? That would be fun. Like some how i had a way where i could hide in shadows or behind Juan or Paul, so after they make their big entrance the Attacker or the Attackee (depending if Paul or Juan started it haha) would be none the wiser that im around and ready to shank them or give them a donkey punch.
#436, by Matt on Fri 17 Apr 2009, 01:39 pm

I don't personally care WHAT you play, just so long as you figure out a way to play it. 66% of whether or not you have any fun in these sessions is how you interact with the rest of the group and how you play your character. Whatever you decide to do, do it. Just be aware.

What I need to know now is if you plan on playing tonight so that I can set up the story to have you in it, or not and we can work it in next time. Your call.
#435, by texaspete on Fri 17 Apr 2009, 01:34 pm

Kk's then i wont be the Headstrong aggressive type. Ill be the cool headed thinker who try's to work with the insane ideas of them.
#434, by Matt on Fri 17 Apr 2009, 01:28 pm

"tends to misplace stuff but find it somehere." What does that mean? Give me an example.

Well, if you WANT to play I think I have a great way to work you into the story relatively quickly and give you some kind of motivation. If you DON'T want to play, that's fine, and I can create a situation to work you in whenever you do come that fits where the party is.

Your biggest problem is going to be figuring out how to work in the group dynamic. Especially considering that you have to try to deal with the large personalities like Paul and Juan and how you'd fit in with that. Like Baylee and Jason do a pretty good job of standing back enough to let Juan and Paul run roughshod all over the place, but putting a foot down or proposing something not utterly insane when it's needed. It's sometimes not easy to find your niche within the group.
#433, by texaspete on Fri 17 Apr 2009, 01:19 pm

If it would be best for me to sit this one out then i can do so
#432, by texaspete on Fri 17 Apr 2009, 01:18 pm

somewhere*
#431, by texaspete on Fri 17 Apr 2009, 01:18 pm

I would like to be a Loud and outspoken wannabe hero type that tends to misplace stuff but find it somehere.
#430, by Matt on Fri 17 Apr 2009, 01:11 pm

Yeah, but I talked to everybody else about what KIND of character they want to play (loud and outspoken, quiet, devious, lumbering jackalope) and the character's back story. We need to do that with you so that you have some kind of context and I can introduce you sooner rather than later in the session with an event other than "Here's another dude because the GM says so"
#429, by texaspete on Fri 17 Apr 2009, 01:10 pm

Yea i was just going to sit there til i was intro'd
#428, by Matt on Fri 17 Apr 2009, 01:00 pm

And Arthur... seriously... Costco Pizzas?
#427, by Matt on Fri 17 Apr 2009, 12:57 pm

If you do come, we need to figure out how to introduce your character, as we will be unable to let you continue playing Fred's. I'm sure that's what you'd prefer anyway, to have your own guy.
#426, by texaspete on Fri 17 Apr 2009, 12:54 pm

I might be able to come...
#425, by Matt on Fri 17 Apr 2009, 12:33 pm

Some things:

1. Fred will not make it tonight, as his son is sick, but he has given me instructions for how to handle his character.

2. GUNS! http://dev.yaysoft.com/CHAR/firearms.pdf <-- 2 MB PDF. Find your gun(s) in the book and print yourself copies. No longer my responsibility!

3. CHARACTERS! The engine isn't updated yet because, well, I'm a bum and haven't done it. I know, I suck. But CHARMAGEDDON will always be here: http://dev.yaysoft.com/CHAR/ to print your sheet, etc... I'm going to spend the afternoon tweaking that, so if it seems broken, come back in a half hour or so.

4. If you can, give me an idea of who's playing, as I have a fairly tightly-woven direction I plan to lead this session. Arthur? Steven? Paul? Jaylee?
#424, by .aero on Fri 17 Apr 2009, 10:37 am

I plan on bringing a pair of Costco 18" Cheese Pizza.

You have been warned.
#423, by Deadpool on Fri 17 Apr 2009, 07:53 am

On that same note, are the character sheets available online?
#422, by Deadpool on Fri 17 Apr 2009, 06:27 am

I think you still have my sheet Matt.
#421, by Matt on Thu 16 Apr 2009, 10:29 pm

Oh, and print your character sheet if you don't have one, as we know Rob's printer is... questionable at best.
#420, by Matt on Thu 16 Apr 2009, 08:01 pm

And yes, Rob's Place, 730. Have eaten prior.
#416, by Deadpool on Wed 15 Apr 2009, 06:57 am

Rob's Place 7:30 bring your own food or eat before getting there.
#415, by arby on Tue 14 Apr 2009, 05:55 pm

My place is open, as usual. And I'm not getting up early Saturday to work on the house, so I don't have to kick you out at midnight. ;)
#414, by Deadpool on Tue 14 Apr 2009, 12:27 pm

So where is this week's YRPG taking place? I would offer my place, but there's a lack of seating until the fucking pottery barn get their shit together.
#413, by wildfire on Mon 13 Apr 2009, 01:52 am

It was "entertaining". Not as bad as I was expecting.
#412, by Baylee on Mon 13 Apr 2009, 12:18 am

Agreed. I think it might actually be better the second time, once you know what to expect from it.
#411, by satan on Mon 13 Apr 2009, 12:14 am

Jason's Review: It was highly entertaining. It was also pretty impressively bad. I'd probably watch it again at some point when it comes out on video for the lols. :D

Thanks, Paul. :) Thaul.
#410, by Matt on Sun 12 Apr 2009, 08:47 pm

I remember when they were $4 and I'm not talking about the matinée price. You fucking kids. Gas was also less than 70 cents when I started driving.

I'm currently at the parental unit home for a combo Easter and my dad's birthday celebration. I never liked DBZ so I don't know what to make of the live action movie. Does it even have a shot at being remotely good? It seems to me that's a bit like if you were making a video game and you thought "hey, I'll base this game on Daikatana! Oh, and that old ET game too. It can't lose with reference sources like that!"

#409, by Baylee on Sun 12 Apr 2009, 08:20 pm

:( I remember when movie tickets were, like, $7.
#408, by wildfire on Sun 12 Apr 2009, 08:06 pm

Here is a great clip from a review of DB...E??

"Dear Fans of The Other Dragonball Incarnations: I don't know what to say to you people. You may or may not be pleased with this film. I have no idea. This is my first exposure to this particular universe. They may have stomped on its soul and raped its very essence for all I know. But as a child's first martial arts film, it could be a heck of lot worse. It's not incoherent. It's not without logic. It's not un-fun. It's not a lot of things that could turn it into something stinky-bad like Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li."

here is the link to the full review for anyone interested: http://www.movies.com/dragonballevolution/moviereview/116461.html
#407, by wildfire on Sun 12 Apr 2009, 08:04 pm

the AMC 24 sounds like the better deal, silverado raised their prices, amc is only $.50 more atm. Not to mention it is much less of a drive.
#406, by Baylee on Sun 12 Apr 2009, 06:33 pm

Jason and I will be going, despite my dread of how it'll be. :)

For anyone else who's interested and hasn't spoken to Wildfire, it looks like we'll be meeting at Willowbrook at 10pm or at Silverado Theater by Tomball at 9pm.
#405, by wildfire on Sun 12 Apr 2009, 02:44 pm

Well, I am attempting to to go and see Dragon Ball this evening, I have only called Jason as he and his better half are the only ones living in this area(with Juan being the next nearest)

It will be some time after 7 and I dont have the theater/movies picked yet as I do not know who will be interested.
#404, by Deadpool on Wed 08 Apr 2009, 01:12 pm

And a bullet sized hole in his bicep.
#403, by Matt on Wed 08 Apr 2009, 12:22 pm

Quite. Thanks A.

You gonna make the next YRPG? I managed to not kill your character, and now he has a gun. With ammo and everything.
#402, by Deadpool on Wed 08 Apr 2009, 11:37 am

Yes Matt Happy whatever it is.
#401, by .aero on Wed 08 Apr 2009, 10:36 am

Happy Today, Matt :)
#400, by Matt on Tue 07 Apr 2009, 06:14 pm

I have convened with the family, and the answer is no.

Not only is it Easter weekend, but there are 4 birthdays in my family all within five days of this weekend, so basically it's going to be booked up with all sorts of pretending to be happy bullshit.

We will convene again next Friday, April 17. Also, I did not get that job in Austin. Bad news for me. Good news for YRPG.
#399, by Deadpool on Tue 07 Apr 2009, 05:59 am

And just so we're all on the same page, is there going to be a YRPG this Friday?
#398, by Matt on Mon 06 Apr 2009, 05:44 pm

ah yes, you're right.
#397, by Deadpool on Mon 06 Apr 2009, 06:10 am

He wasn't, he just wanted the bottlecaps. While yes he did pick out a flag, it wasn't part of the official test.
#396, by Matt on Sun 05 Apr 2009, 11:51 pm

Good summary so far Juan! I should note that iirc, Paul's character was subjected to the gate test, wasn't he?
#395, by wildfire on Fri 03 Apr 2009, 09:41 am

Hmmm, twitter-licious!!
#394, by Matt on Thu 02 Apr 2009, 10:20 pm

Also, for those that sign up to Twitter and use Firefox, check out the TwitterFox extension at http://twitterfox.net/

It makes handling twitter pretty easy, and can add something of a chat element to the site if most of us use it and "follow" each other. Not necessarily a bad thing.
#393, by Matt on Thu 02 Apr 2009, 06:58 pm

Okay friends, from now on, you can track announcements via TWITTER! (yay, your favorite!)

https://twitter.com/yrpg

Why would I do such a thing? Well, for one, it's easy to track updates that way, and for another, there's a convenient RSS link right there!

So for those of you who use an aggregator or otherwise want an easy way to track the status of the YRPG, it's right there on Twitter.

Also, you can sign up for a twitter account and "follow" yrpg to allow you to message the account or participate in YRPG discussion there, should you choose to do so.
#392, by arby on Thu 02 Apr 2009, 05:44 pm

I was going to go to the grocery on the way home, but my car went boom! So unless you want to drink water, someone needs to bring something. ;)
#391, by Matt on Thu 02 Apr 2009, 05:42 pm

Okay, how about this. Same procedure - 730, eat before, except MEET AT ROB'S HOUSE.

This will make his lack of a ride a non-issue (I'd be willing to drive him, but that seems redundant), and he has more space than me anyway.

So, in short, the plan remains the same... EXCEPT WE ARE HAVING THE SESSION AT ROB'S PLACE.
#390, by arby on Thu 02 Apr 2009, 05:34 pm

Wheee, my car went boom! I will need a ride tomorrow if someone can pick me up / drop me off. Otherwise I'm sitting this one out.
#389, by Matt on Thu 02 Apr 2009, 03:53 pm

Anyone who wears nipple clamps to the session will get a free experience level!
#388, by texaspete on Wed 01 Apr 2009, 11:19 pm

Matt count me in.
#387, by wildfire on Wed 01 Apr 2009, 04:24 pm

#386, by Matt on Tue 31 Mar 2009, 07:38 pm

Sounds good.
#385, by Deadpool on Tue 31 Mar 2009, 07:10 pm

Why isn't GM a paid position? I'm down for YRPG friday, Matt's place 7:30? Everyone eat before you get there.
#384, by Matt on Tue 31 Mar 2009, 05:39 pm

Well, if you guys want to continue with the RPG, I am up for it. We left off in the middle of an action sequence, so it'd be jumping right in.

The only reason we haven't had sessions lately is because I've had interviews, and as much as I hate to flake and be a wishy-washy cockmonger, paying the bills takes precedence over YRPG.
#383, by wildfire on Tue 31 Mar 2009, 05:30 pm

I have a great movie for a movie night :D
#382, by Deadpool on Tue 31 Mar 2009, 11:54 am

Any chance of an RPG session this week? If not I've been thinking of reinstating Pancho's movie night.
#381, by wildfire on Wed 25 Mar 2009, 12:43 pm

Awesome, go kick some ass out there.
#380, by Matt on Wed 25 Mar 2009, 12:35 pm

Well, I have an interview in Austin again, so Friday is a no-go for me. If this goes well, there's a good possibility I'll get the job, in which case the future of YRPG is in limbo (I'd probably schedule a once-a-month thing on the first or last Sat or Sun of the month if that were the case, as I expect to visit at least that often if I do end up having to move).
#379, by Deadpool on Tue 24 Mar 2009, 10:50 am

I hope everyone is set for Friday.
#378, by texaspete on Tue 17 Mar 2009, 08:38 pm

Mmmmm sounds like cake!
#377, by Matt on Tue 17 Mar 2009, 07:22 pm

Yes, it is worth noting for the few who are unaware.

THERE WILL BE NO YRPG SESSION THIS WEEKEND.

Once again, my lawyerness gets in the way. This time, I have to take my mandatory annual class so that I can maintain my license.
#376, by Deadpool on Tue 17 Mar 2009, 11:39 am

March 27th save the date!
#375, by texaspete on Tue 17 Mar 2009, 01:57 am

I will be joining the next yrpg.
#374, by Deadpool on Mon 16 Mar 2009, 03:07 pm

Augh damn it! Yeah I could barely remember anyone's name.
#373, by Matt on Mon 16 Mar 2009, 01:20 pm

Awesome job, apart from renaming the doctor from Leroy to Travis. ;)
#372, by Deadpool on Mon 16 Mar 2009, 08:02 am

The exiting conclusion has been posted in the YRPG section.
#371, by Deadpool on Sun 15 Mar 2009, 11:33 am

That's why god invented respawn points.
#370, by Matt on Sat 14 Mar 2009, 11:04 pm

Good so far! Gotta finish it (especially the part where you kneecap the kindhearted doctor and trigger the security system that ultimately traps you in a corner facing encroaching security robots and we decided to CUT TO COMMERCIAL for the session).
#369, by Deadpool on Sat 14 Mar 2009, 11:41 am

Make sure to check out my recap of the night's events in the YRPG section.
#368, by Matt on Fri 13 Mar 2009, 06:12 pm

And yes, I know Thievery is still spelled wrong.
#367, by Matt on Fri 13 Mar 2009, 06:09 pm

MERRY FUCKING CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY
http://dev.yaysoft.com/CHAR/

No, you can't edit them yet, but that's trivial. I know I work on Valve Time - http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Valve_Time - , and I apologize for that. Life is a time-consuming pain-in-the-ass sometimes.

To reward you folks, I decided that if I held onto the fancy application until it was done, you'd never see it, so I quickly hacked up a hard-coded app to run the fallout rules. I'll enable editing once I double-check it works right and there's no time if I want to prep the session.

We'll do the leveling-up by hand tonight, but no worries b/c it's way easier than RMSS.
#366, by Matt on Fri 13 Mar 2009, 05:48 pm

Call me when you are on your way there and I'll meet you.
#365, by arby on Fri 13 Mar 2009, 05:46 pm

I will be eating at Freebird's around 7 PM before heading over to Matt's.
#364, by wildfire on Fri 13 Mar 2009, 03:10 pm

if anyone wants to get together for a bite before the session, left me know, if I can, i do not want to have to fight rush hour to get down there so I will be heading out earlier. give me a ring as I will be away from my comp.

#363, by wildfire on Fri 13 Mar 2009, 11:19 am

Ugh... tonight ought to be a fun ride down there and back
#362, by Matt on Thu 12 Mar 2009, 02:24 pm

REMEMBER TO EAT BEFORE THE SESSION. 730 SHOULD GIVE YOU ENOUGH TIME TO GRAB YOURSELF SOME NOM-NOMS.
#360, by Matt on Tue 10 Mar 2009, 02:12 am

Lets make it 730 at my place. I don't know if Fred will be able to make it either, so it looks like a relatively normal amount of folks.

If we do have additional people other than the original group, I need to know at least by Wednesday night so I can have a day or so to prep additional materials for them.
#359, by wildfire on Mon 09 Mar 2009, 11:33 pm

I can make it then, Jessica can not.
#358, by Deadpool on Mon 09 Mar 2009, 12:19 pm

Alright let us get this bit o' business done right, YRPG this Friday 7:45 PM at Matt's apartment, unless it is heavily attended, in which case festivities will be moved to Rob's house. Everyone in accord?
#357, by McCloud on Sat 07 Mar 2009, 08:55 am

Added to the To-Do List

Don't become a lawyer: CHECK
#356, by Matt on Fri 06 Mar 2009, 10:55 pm

Ugggg... a'ight kiddos, take my advice and don't ever become a lawyer. :[
#355, by Matt on Fri 06 Mar 2009, 12:38 pm

Not tomorrow. Only Sunday would work at all for me, and I'm pretty sure that's a bad day for at least a chunk of you... so I'd rather just push it out to the next "official" day to avoid confusion or stepping on toes.
#354, by Deadpool on Fri 06 Mar 2009, 07:05 am

Man that sucks arse, not to sound presumptuous but any chance of a 4:00 PM saturday meeting?
#353, by Matt on Fri 06 Mar 2009, 04:53 am

YRPG THIS WEEK HAS BEEN CANCELED!

Sorry for the relatively last-minute notice, but it's 5am and a (minor, but annoying) emergency came up that's going to kill my day.
#351, by Matt on Thu 05 Mar 2009, 11:25 pm

Come to think of it, 745@ Rob's is probably better. Eat beforehand. I'll bring my collapsible chairs, so between those and his couch we should be good.

It's too late to call Rob now, but I will call him tomorrow afternoon to confirm he's cool with it, unless he posts before then to say yay/nay.

So plan on that.
#350, by Matt on Thu 05 Mar 2009, 11:03 pm

I think I got that. We'll have to deal at my place. I'm considering pushing the time back to 745 so that everybody can handle dinner beforehand themselves. What do you think?
#349, by wildfire on Thu 05 Mar 2009, 09:47 pm

That was Paul that time :P
#348, by wildfire on Thu 05 Mar 2009, 09:46 pm

With all the extra bodies, will we still be meeting at your place Matt?
#347, by wildfire on Thu 05 Mar 2009, 09:41 pm

Hi, this is Jessica (you know, Paul's "woman"). So, I just took the test, and it's under my name. I guess I'll see you guys tomorrow. Try not to put me through too much torture...
#346, by texaspete on Thu 05 Mar 2009, 07:55 pm

Maybe I should make an appearance....
#345, by wildfire on Thu 05 Mar 2009, 07:23 pm

She will. And it was more Jessica's idea then mine.... mostly...
#344, by Matt on Thu 05 Mar 2009, 06:17 pm

Yes. Also, my friend Fred will be joining us. I do not yet know if he will be a permanent addition to the campaign or not, but he wants to play and I'm going to let him. This is the guy behind Rolo and Polo that I've told you all about. He's by far the most experienced roleplayer, but yet also completely and utterly unfamiliar with the Fallout universe, so it should be interesting.

And Paul's woman will be joining us as well. I'm not sure whether she wants to play or not, Paul was unclear. I figure that's cool if he wants to torture her like that, then so be it. Paul - do let me know if she's going to need a character, though.

Go Back
