#101, by ??? (Arthur) on Mon 30 Nov 2009, 10:15 pm 1. Laughing at people, while pointing, is a very effective way of greeting those whom you’ve never met. 2. Everyone’s name is Captain Pope. Just then, Sage’s communicator begins yelling at him. It sounds like Brock. Sage hands his device to Juan’s character and smiles. “Are you guys there?” Brock yells. “What the hell happened!?” “Captain Pope! We just killed a lot of Captain Popes after meeting with Captain Pope and his bodyguards, Captain Pope and Captain Pope. Captain Pope used some kind of electric field which knocked out our communicators and we got in a fight. Captain Pope managed to stab him before Captain Pope disappeared. Once we got back to the dance floor, we knew we had to get all the Captain Popes out but there were a lot of Captain Popes. Luckily, Captain Pope had a megaphone and yelled ‘Fire!’ and all the Captain Popes ran out of the club except the Captain Popes, then Captain Pope, Captain Pope, and I (Captain Pope), shot them all with our guns until we had killed all the Captain Popes. It was a good thing Captain Pope at the bar had been buying drinks for all the Captain Popes before Captain Pope, Captain Pope, and Captain Pope started shooting, because it made the Captain Popes explode!” “… What?” Brock asked, incredulous. Captain Pope grabs the communication device away from Juan’s character. “We found Julian, he tried to kill us, we somehow manage to escape thanks to some series of fortunate events… but he got away.” “He got away? Wow, what kind of brawl broke out?” “We’ll let you know in the debriefing, but in the meantime please come get us, we’re really standing in a bunch of ruins right now.” “Alright, make your way to the extraction point, it’s across the street, one mile south.” Team exits club, magic business card falls out of the air. “Oh, it says Captain pope!” Juan announces. Captain Pope grabs the card away from Juan. <back in the debriefing room> "So, what kind of battle was it?" Brock asks. "So there we were talkin’, and he threatened to kill us and..." “Wow guys, it’s amazing you lived. You’re a cohesive Hunter unit and I’m glad to see you’re gellin’. I am both surprised and impressive. We’ll need to decommission all your equipment and scan them for magical effects.” Team goes to armory for decommissioning.Captain Pope secretly hides the magical business card in his sock. Juan’s character notices that he’s never met the armory officer. Immediately, he begins pointing at the officer and laughing. “Uh… what?” The Officer asks Juan’s character. “Oh, sorry. I, uh, suffer from PTS.” “I’m.. I’m sorry, who are you again?” The supply officer asks. “I’m Captain Pope.” Juan replies, simply. Later that evening, back in the barracks, Sage excuses himself from the base to go make a phone call to his political connections to do a little checking up on this Brock character. “Hey guys, food sucks here, I’m going out to grab some McRibs.” As he leaves the compound, he gets the feeling that he’s being watched. So he decides to call a cab and make his way further from the compound than he first anticipated. Feeling a magical presence following him, he decides to invoke his ability to Hide from supernatural creatures. Shortly thereafter, the feeling of being watched passes. Sage makes his call, gets information that he’ll get a call tomorrow at 7:30p at the pay phone at the corner of Smith and Wesson. Sage arrives back at the barracks with 21 McRibs and a religious book from Barnes and Noble, as he was unable to procure a library card due to his inadvertently calling the lady, whose nametag said “K. Unt,” Ms. Kunt. During all this, Paul decided to ask Brock if there was a way to reattach or re-grow his arm, which he was, until recently, attached to. Brock mentions that there’s some sort of experimental lab where they might be able to do something about that. Malik arrives in the experimental lab where the techs warn him that the device can regrow lost limbs, but it causes immeasurable pain in living creatures. Unphased, Malik agrees and they strap him into the device. It requires someone with the Vision skill, so they fetch Harris to come donate her abilities for the procedure. After a lot of rolling to not die and screaming like a baby, Malik has a perfect Big Beefy Arm where his stump used to be. Malik names his new arm “Army Arrington.” Malik discovers that his hatred for McRibs knows no bounds. He hates McRibs more than he hates anything else. The team then goes back to the barracks and passes out. In the middle of the night, they’re woken up twice by Paul’s character’s arm strangling himself. The second time this occurs, Captain Pope walks to the Armory (your source for all arm-related needs) and gets some handcuffs for “a situation in the barracks.” The Armory officer is very weirded out and hands over the cuffs without question. The party sleeps through the night and Paul’s new arm just has bloody scars in the morning from pulling against the cuffs. • Malik’s control over his arm will wane if he’s unconscious or in a stressful situation. A willpower roll at a difficulty of 7 is required to maintain control. A failure causes the arm to not respond. A botch and the arm actively attacks Malik. • Harris can exert control over the arm with a willpower roll at a difficulty of 5. The next day, the team is introduced to Brock’s next plan to kill Julius Shepard. In addition, Brock is sending them in with an elite force of highly trained soldiers called Alpha Omega Squad. The team has been reassured that The Universe won’t fuck them if they do anything supernatural around them. Additionally, Brock tells the team, they’re all wearing goggles that allow them to see supernatural creatures for what they are. Sage suggests that Juan’s character get two pair of the goggles for himself, because it’s twice the coolness factor. They look like giant fly eyes. Brock also informs the team that all the Hunters are going to get 9mm handguns, while Alpha Omega team gets awesome weapons of greatness that are fingerprinted to operate only for Alpha Omega squad. All the equipment the team previously had … is being cleaned of magical residue. The team is somewhat perturbed by this. Considering that the 9mm handguns aren’t even loaded, and the Hunters are expected to go in first while the Alpha Omega Squad stand back and pick off things from range. Brock reconsiders and gives the Hunters 2 full clips of ammunition. It is now 7:00p, the operation will begin at 9pm. Sage realizes he needs to be across town to answer a phone call at 7:30p. Arthur grabs Robbie and the rest of the Hunters and they get a car from the base. It turns out to be a yellow Honda Civic with a giant spoiler. Making the excuse that he needs to return the book he bought at Barnes and Noble. They arrive at the store but realize they’re being followed. Robbie’s character manages, after 3 minutes, to lose the car following them. Eventually, they get Sage to the correct phone booth on time. Sage learns nothing important about Brock on the phone call. Juan’s character suggests that they just drive straight to Julius’ house before the operation to meet with ‘em before the operation tonight at 8:30p. The team agrees. After some very impressive driving by Robbie’s character, they arrive at Knob Hill entirely by drifting. The team is very impressed and Robbie’s character regains all his willpower by doing impressive things. Upon arriving, the team run up and barge through the door. Brock and Alpha Omega Squad draw their guns and aim them at the Hunter Team. The team immediately suspects Brock for betraying them, and Brock suspects the Hunters of betraying him. Brock explains that he had no choice but to teleport to the location after he saw the team, via the GPS tracking device in the Yellow Civic, heading towards the Knob Hill location. Much finger pointing and accusations fly around. But everything finishes with Brock teleporting, via Sally, back to the base along with Alpha Omega Squad. A moment later, Sally appears and mentions that she’s been having trouble teleporting lately and if there’s *ahem* any other places the team might want to go she should know about it. Captain Pope looks at the magical business card again and realizes the address has changed. He indicates the new address to Sally and she teleports him and the rest of the Hunters to the new address on the card instead of back to the Hunter compound as Brock had instructed. She radios Brock and lets him know she’s having trouble locking down locations for the teleport and she’ll be back with the Hunters as soon as she can manage. The team find themselves in a weird mansion. Looking outside the window they realize that they’re floating through the air. Juan’s character asks, “Is anybody there?” “Yes.” A voice replies. “Well, who’s there?” Juan continues. “The Fey.” “We’re here to see Julian, he wanted to meet with us.” “Follow the yellow brick road.” The Hunter Team notices that there’s a yellow brick pattern on the carpet leading down a hallway. They all feel magically compelled to skip down the yellow brick road. Eventually, they arrive at a door with a lion’s head on it. It appears to be an actual lion, sleeping. It has a knocker ring in its mouth. While Robbie’s character rears back to knock with his billy club, Malik volunteers to knock with his new arm. As Paul goes to knock, Harris exerts control over the arm and knocks for Malik. The Lion is perturbed, but lets the team through anyhow. The Hunter Team sees three thrones with three bizarre Fey in the thrones. Julian warns them to be nice and address the council with the respect that they deserve. Juan’s character decides, with Sage’s help, that he should keep his mouth shut. Captain Pope sums up the situation for the Fey and why there’s a team of Hunters in their presence. They inform the team that Brock Rockstone is several hundred years old and prolongs his life by forcing a mage in his thrall to do his bidding. They’re sympathetic to the Hunter Team’s plight in saving Sally from Brock. They give them what amounts to Pixie Dust, which will cause anyone who inhales it to pass out for a week. After talking to the Fey for awhile, the Fey teleport the the Hunters back to Knob Hill. Julian appears next to the team as a regular human and continues talking to the team. Sally appears to take the team back to the compound. Julian nods and Sally. Sally nods at Julian. Sage thinks to himself that the name of the location should have been called Nod Hill. The team is teleported back to the compound. <after dinner> After back at the compound, Captain Pope combines the Pixie Dust with some vodka, Juan’s character sneaks around the compound looking at things. Juan’s character sneaks into the Officer’s quarters and taps on Sally’s door. Sally answers and lets Juan’s character inside. He asks her to follow him back to the barracks. Sally agrees and puts away the implements with which she was trying to kill herself with. After back in the barracks, Sally stands around while the team looks confused. She goes back to her room. Dead-set on disabling the entire compound with the Pixie dust, the team tries to find… things. Then the entire party sneaks around the compound. They all sneak into the experimental lab where Malik’s arm was grown back and Malik’s arm starts going nuts and breaking everything. Juan’s character notices a big security door and goes to push on it. The entire team turn the experimental lab upside down, while Malik’s arm breaks additional items, looking for a way to open the security door. Unsuccessful, the team makes their way to the war room, exhibit hall, decontamination room, entryway, and outside. Looking around for an air vent they suddenly realize that, regardless of how sneaky they’re been, the entire compound has cameras everywhere and everything they’ve done this entire time has been recorded by both microphones and cameras. |

#100, by ??? (Arthur) on Sat 14 Nov 2009, 06:05 am Brock Rockstone, with aid from Sally the Mage, informed the party of the basic tactical situation. First, a building containing 6 - 12 lightly armed potentially enthralled staff complete with a Fey, and a 4th floor apartment across the street overlooking the building’s entrance. Because of their number, the party decided to handle the smaller task of the apartment before the building across the street. Brock, now positioned in another nearby building, informed the team via their radio earpieces that there was a sniper keeping a steady watch on the building across the street from the window of the 4th floor apartment. To avoid detection from the sniper above, the team moved around to the entrance of the apartment by staying close to the building. Only Arthur slipped a little, but he quickly recovered. Finding themselves at a locked door, Juan made quick work in picking its lock. They slowly opened the door, only to find that there was also a chain latch. The party overheard someone say “Hey! What’s going on?!” followed by footsteps quickly clumping down the stairs. The door was immediately re-closed and a security peephole was slid open. “Who’s there?” came the voice behind the door. Jason’s ears perked up and instantly seized the moment. “Hey! It’s me, your cousin!” he cheerfully beamed. “Huh? What? I haven’t seen my cousin in twenty years.” “Yeah man, we were at that beach that time, remember?” “What the hell are you talking about, I haven’t been anywhere near a beach! Get lost!” Jason looked back at the rest of the group and shrugged. Arby and Paul began planning to kick the door in and the debating the best etiquette for shoving grenades through peepholes. Suddenly, they looked at Arthur. (... And subsequently, Arthur’s persuasion stat.) ... Arthur knocked on the door. Once again, the peephole slid open. “What do you want?” the voice behind the peephole asked. “We’re here on business with your boss.” “Who are you? What kind of business?” “It’s about a personal matter your boss would prefer we not discuss. He’s expecting us.” “Oh... okay,” the sounds of a deadbolt and the chain drift through the door. “Just how many of you guys are there anyhow?” “Six.” The door opened and the party made their way into the smallish entry room. “He’s up on the 4th floor, number 418. Try not to be too loud on your way up the stairs. You might wake old Ms. O’Leary. The Boss is expecting you, right?” “That’s why we’re here,” Arthur replied. “Okay, okay. Just try not to wake Ms. O’Leary. Oh, and the pass phrase tonight is ‘The crow flies at midnight.’” The group sneaked up the stairs and managed to not wake old Ms. O’Leary. Once again, they found themselves blocked by another door. Arby, Paul, and Juan looked at Arthur. “Impersonate the guy downstairs,” they suggested. Rolling his eyes, Arthur stepped up and knocked on the door. “What’s the password?” the voice behind the door asked. “Uh, the crow flies at midnight,” Arthur answered in his best imitation of the downstairs doorman’s voice. “Oh, hey Billy. What’s going on?” Mental note: Downstairs Guard’s name is Billy. “Oh, nothin’. I was just wonderin’ what you’re up to.” “You should know what we’re up to, Billy. We’re working on Phase 2. What are you doing?” Uh-oh. Arthur had to think fast. “Oh, yeah, Phase 2! Sorry I’ve just been a little worn out after we finished with Phase 1. Say, do you guys need anything?” “Now that you mention it, yeah. We could use some more ammo. Go get some from Ms. O’Leary.” “Uh, sure. I’ll be back in 5 minutes.” The party waited 5 minutes and then Arthur knocked on the door again, “Hey man. I got the ammo for you. Open up.” “What’s the password?” “The crow flies at midnight.” Hearing the various locks on the door being released, Arthur quickly moved to the side as the door opened. Arby wasted no time and immediately introduced the man behind the door to his police baton. Glancing in the open door, Arthur saw four men in the small room. Two of them, seated, turned to look as Arby applied retro-phrenology to their associate. Just before Paul launched himself through the door, Arthur spotted the sniper in the room sitting at the window. Paul, pulling chains from who-knows-where and thumping one of the confused guys with the blunt side of his noisy weapons, immediately established his reputation as Mr. Crazy Chain. Juan nonchalantly waltzed in and shot the chain victim in the chest. Immediately, the sniper dropped his rifle and drew a beast of a handgun. It looked very similar to what Baylee was carrying. The last man in the room dropped to his knees and plead for his life. “Pathetic.” The sniper annihilated the his own man pleading for his life. (Brains represented by little red glass bead.) The chain-bullet victim retaliated by gurgling on his own blood and dying. Arthur invoked his ability to determine the nature of supernatural beings. He quickly identified the sniper as the biggest threat in the room, as if the giant handgun wasn’t already a big enough tip. “Guys, get the sniper!” he shouted. Arthur also sensed a vampire’s presence nearby. Fearing retaliation from another direction, he instructed the members of the group still in the hallway. “Jason! Baylee! Guard the stairs!” Though the next few moments were a blur, Arthur heard a window break in the room and sensed the vampire presence getting closer. Just then, an old lady, which he assumed to be Ms. O’Leary, came up the stairs. “What’s all this noise?!” she shrieked, frying pan in hand. Arthur turned to face her and instantly understood her nature. She was a vampire. “She’s the vampire,” Arthur told Jason and Baylee. “Drop her.” Fighting the urge to establish himself as Ms. O’Leary’s twin sister, Jason fired off a shot with his 9mm, narrowly missing. Baylee, taking no chances, quickly executed a double tap using her massive handgun. Her aim was true, Ms. O’Leary’s frail body slamed back against the wall with two fresh craters where her heart once was. Slumping to the floor, Ms. O’Leary slowly shifted into a gaunt pale man, touching his chest, he asked “What the..? Why did you...” before dissolving into dust. As Arthur turned to check back on the room, he heard Juan asking Brock what happened to the sniper. Brock replied that the sniper fell out of the window but never hit the street below. Arthur entered the small apartment to find Paul, complete with chains, dancing around the room as though he were in a field of grass. After Arthur relayed what happened on the stairs, Arby immediately rushed out of the room to go catch the man guarding the door at the entrance, Billy. Juan, spotted the survivor with a police baton induced head wound, walked over and threatened the man with various amounts of death and gunshot wounds. Juan got the man to spill the beans. “L-Look! We were just selling guns! H-Honest! They had s-some kind of special tactical modification or s-something.” “What was Phase 1?” Juan growls. “Ph-phase 1 was just getting the guns. Phase 2 was selling the guns!” “Who was your boss?! Why is he a Fey?” “W-What? I just work for him. *Bossname* hired me, that’s all I know!” Juan eventually found out that the man was unaware that his employers were anything more than they seemed and decided to let him go. The man promised to go back to bum-fuck where-ever and never come to this city again. Meanwhile, Arby reached the bottom of the stairs, proving that he is unmatched in his ability to descend stairs slowly. He radioed back that Billy had fled his post and was running down the street. Arby watched Billy run to make sure he didn’t try to go in the building across the street. Billy didn’t. Billy ran past the door to the building across the street and off into the night. Paul recovered from his Fey-induced grassy field hallucination and investigated, with Juan, Ms. O’Leary’s room. They found a massive stash of AK-47s and piles of ammo. They each grabbed a rifle and some ammo. Reporting the situation to Brock Rockstone, Brock was very confused by the outcome. He didn’t expect a vampire and a fey in the apartment. He congratulated the team as they made their way out of the apartment. Sally the Mage, while drinking a can of Dr. Pepper, appeared in front of them as the group exited the apartment. “Where did you get those weapons?” Sally asked Paul and Juan while sipping. “Where did you get that Dr. Pepper?” Paul replied. The can of Dr. Pepper vanished from Sally’s hand. “They’re cursed, you know, those weapons,” Sally pointed out, vanishing. Paul and Juan quickly discarded the weapons, and the team set off across the street toward the more heavily manned, and presumably more dangerous, building. |

#99, by ??? (Arthur) on Sat 13 Jun 2009, 03:47 pm 2. Upon getting to the gate in front of the slaver camp, the party was turned away for security reasons and they had to camp. 3. For reasons unknown, Shane jumped up in the middle of the night and punched Paul in the head. Paul retaliated and kicked Shane in the nuts. That was the end of the skirmish and the rest of the night passed uneventfully. 4. The Slaver camp opens up, a perfect model of a typical busy city. The party goes to see Billy Mays about the possible reward for dealing with Vince Offer. Billy Mays doesn't really care. When asked for a reward, Billy says he needs proof of Vince's Death in order to give the party any reward. The party decides that proof of Vince's death, via witness or artifact, is far too much work for the potential reward. 5. The party finds their way to Miguel's building again. Brock's remarkably unreliable memory manages to recall the password to get past Miguel's Ox-like doorman 'Ox'. Miguel is impressed with Karen/Lucy's technical knowledge about bypassing his credit thing. 6. Miguel lets the party know of additional opportunities for the party's particular style of persuasion. Holy Shit: The Enclave has fantastic technology. They have a jar of "Jarate" in an "abandoned house" not too far from here. 7. The Party elects Pablo as leader and he decides to "Go to the Armory" without knowing where it is. Immediately following their decision to split up and search for its location, they learn that the armor's address and directions, are engraved on the back of the Armory Access Card. 8. Brass Monkey 9. The party arrives at the Armory. It's a big steel door with a card reader along the side. Pablo swipes the card and the indicator next to the card reader blinks red three times and nothing happens. Paul swipes like a madman for 15 minutes and, on the third attempt, the light flashes green and the door makes a clicking noise. 10. The Party enters the room. A little old lady behind a desk asks, "Hello?" After interrogating Pablo, the lady gives the group access to the armory. The group has the opportunity to load up on shit. Shit is, in fact, loaded up upon. A crazy stomach dance party commences. 11. The party decides to annihilate the Enclave another day. Brock decides to "have fun" and go help the girls. They learn to not ask Brock what to do, as he'll always choose the boring stuff. Brock decides to go play kick the dirt. 12. During the night, Brock perceives a group of about 5 people in robes quietly digging holes. He accosts Pablo and drags him along to interrogate them. They make a donation of 14 bottle caps to Doctor Father Brock Rockstone's church fund. Brock decides to find a new name for his church and the shady individuals suggest "Church of the Sacred Boyhood." Brock agrees and the individuals slink off into the night. About 100ft away, two of them drop dead. The group decides they want no part of this fatal weirdness. In the morning, the bodies are gone and appear to have been dragged away until the drag marks disappear suddenly. During the investigation, Pablo discovers that he should probably not follow Brock's advice and personally investigate the areas of disturbed. 13. The group meets Lucy and karen at the Statue of Fluffy and they discuss their plan of attack on the town. Lucy and Karen discover that "Princess" is still among the members of the town. They begin to doubt the group's ability to annihilate the entire town. Humberto remarks that Dr. Lee told them that Princess enjoys catching flying objects. Though a normal grenade would not do any significant damage to Princess, Lucy and Karen suggest that only a very rare Happy Fun Ball would have a good chance at decimating the giant Deathclaw. While the group had a Happy Fun Ball, they did not have a detonator. Karen and Lucy remarked that they could create a detonator if only they had some scrap metal, wire, the eye of a newt, and some sort of handle (a motorcycle brake). Although Brock was happy to march into the town and buy supplies, Karen and Lucy protested that it might not be a good idea to buy supplies from a town where one was known as a fugitive. A nearby Raider camp became their target. 14. In planning for the group's assault on the raider camp, Lucy and Karen scouted the camp and determined the number of Raiders and that there was a female captive there as well. The group planned for a good hour afterwards. Steven's character, Shane, decided that he needed to sneakily shank someone with his newfound shanking devices. Complicated plan involving tossing and grenades and sneaking and whatnot. A) Shane is boosted over the camp's fence by Humberto, where he sneaks over to the female captive and stabs the girl's captive in the back of the neck rather dramatically. B) Humberto rolls a grenade over to the hut where four of the Raiders were having a philosophical discussion. One is killed instantly in the detonation, three are dramatically wounded. C) Pablo rolls a grenade underneath a truck near the front of the compound. The grenade's detonation wounds one of the two guards at the door. The detonation of the truck's reactor, however, vaporized the wall, the remains of the wounded guard, and nearly killed the other. Pablo, standing some distance away next to Doctor Father Brock Rockstone, is blown back and takes some trivial damage. Brock is unaffected. The party is victorious with Lucy and Karen blasting the grenade out of a surviving Raider's hand. Then continuing to blast several Raiders, who were unknown to the party, as they came out of a building in the rear of the compound. Karen reveals that Lucy and her are known as "The Desert Snake" or somesuch. |

#98, by ??? (Juan) on Mon 08 Jun 2009, 08:23 am “Where do you suppose they went to?” The remaining Vault dwellers continued their search. They found their way to Pleasantville, and eventually to a squalid drinking establishment named Murderer’s Row. Father Brock and Humberto got conned into a game of pool but came out victorious, drinks were bought for the bar and there was much rejoicing. Eventually the group met two brothers who managed the bar’s *ahem* entertainment. Words were exchanged and the group accepted the deal proposed by the two men. Find their wayward brother Lithuania, kill the cult leader that had brainwashed him and they would gladly arrange a meeting with Karen and Lucy. The group left and made their way to the cult’s base. The cult was led by possible goat rapist Vince Offer, who in his infinite wisdom had decided to create every single thing in the compound out of Chamonix. The group managed to get inside the compound with not much difficulty, Humberto dipped his stump into a rejuvenation pool that turned out to be a pool of acid. They eventually found and rescued Lithuania, despite this he did not want to return to his brothers. They left with him anyway, perhaps he was struck by a taser. The group was confronted by Cultists and by Vince Offer himself as they tried to leave. Augustus struck Vince and effectively incapacitated him, but this is not how MONKEYHUMPIN’ ROCK BROCKSTONE GETS SHIT DONE!!!! Rock Brockstone punched Vince into a fine mist. He then convinced the cultists to toss Vince in the so-called rejuvenation pool. The then group left. Back at Murderer’s Row, the gang handed over Lithuania, they were given some bottle caps for their trouble and were granted an audience with Lucy and Karen, who had now become bodyguard for Tank and Lester. The group talked to Karen and Lucy and told them about their father’s message. It is then that they expressed their wish to overthrow Dr Lee and reunite with their father. Lucy returned the stolen chit card and explained how she hacked it. The group then agreed to help Lucy and Karen with their plan; they would meet again under the shadow of Fluffy’s statue. |

#97, by ??? (Juan) on Tue 19 May 2009, 07:44 am Eventually they reached the Slaver camp where they met Miguel. Goods were exchanged for bottle caps and some information was shed on the whereabouts of Karen and not Karen. Apparently they are rather fond of whoring it up around town with Miguel’s credit card, Miguel asked the group to retrieve his card and to find how “not Karen” had hacked it. Miguel also offered Pablo a cybernetic prosthesis after the proper components were gathered. The gang made their way back into the town. |

#96, by ??? (Juan) on Mon 18 May 2009, 12:39 pm One of the men attacking Brock was electrocuted when he tried to grab his gauntlet. He became a conductor and fell on Pablo almost killing him. Humberto shot at the men holding Brock and he eventually managed to get loose. Somebody rushed Brock, he successfully asked, and got, a donation of 43 bottle caps in mid battle, he however failed to strike down the attacker while he was rummaging through his pockets. The Leader, a flamboyant character with a flair for the grandiose, whipped out two laser pistols and struck at the collective group, he used his jet boots to fly off but dropped 3 frag grenades on his way out. The remaining enemies were dead and the gang was relatively unscathed, although two of it’s members were at death’s door. Pablo and Augustus were healed, but Pablo was now addicted to Snake oil just like rabbi Brock. Franklin the Super Mutant picked this occasion to make his presence know inside the tent. He was convinced by the shifty Vault dwellers that it was in fact the flamboyant man who had caused the ruckus and killed Millie. He warned the vault dwellers and eventually they left after lifting several bottle caps and a suitcase full of snake oil. |

#95, by ??? (Juan) on Mon 18 May 2009, 10:25 am Lorenzo managed to get a shot off and killed one of them men pinning Augustus, while Beatrix killed the other. It should be mentioned that Millie did have a son named Billy D. McBlindboyington, or Billy the Blind boy for brevity’s sake. Never one to miss the chance to strike a newly orphaned boy with a shotgun, Beatrix caved Billy’s skull in with her weapon. She then took aim for the leader but her gun misfired yet again. |

#94, by ??? (Juan) on Mon 18 May 2009, 08:41 am Some kind of manic depressive creature was hocking snake oil from a stage, the people around it were enthralled. The creature introduced itself as a “she” despite having something of a beard and a rather mannish appearance. She introduced herself as Millie Ways, she also had no control over the volume of her voice from the sound of it. She offered the group a free sample of Snake Oil, Brock gladly took since he was in dire need of healing potions. He drank the bland tasteless substance and immediately became addicted. After some bottle caps were exchanged Millie opened up about the slaver camp, they learned the Slaver leader was named Corona. She also identified the Super Mutant as Franklin, they were apparently friends. “It’s time for Brock Rockstone to do what Brock Rockstone does best! Sucker Punch bearded broads!” “Huh?” Rock reached back and punched Millie’s head clean off. Millie’s people began to rush the group. “Whoa fellas let’s not fly off the handle here, Brock Rockstone is wicked sorry.” The group of attackers stopped dead in their tracks. “Now as I was saying…” Brock unleashed another punch and pulverized one of the attackers. Augustus struck at their leader, although he hit him square across the face the man remained unmoved. The attackers could not be fooled twice, Brock and Augustus were tackled and pinned to the ground by several men. |

The group left the statue and began making their way towards the slaver settlement. In the distance a massive black dropship released two men in power armor. Everyone thought it would be best if they avoided any conflict, the group tried to ignored the sounds of destruction and the screams of agony. As they walked a massive figure appeared in the distance. Whatever it was, it had its back was turned to them. The group tried to sneak around it the best way a group of several people can. |

(Juan) on Mon 27 Apr 2009, 06:59 am There was a total of five Death Claw's, two adults and three babies. landmines were placed, two of the younglins were killed by the first mine, the father of the pride was injured. Humberto, who had placed the mines, was quite happy with himself and was engorged with self satisfaction. The father decided to inspect the other mine, not being aware that it was a proximity mine his head was blown off. The mother and the remaining baby ran back into the room and cowered in fear, the gang moved in on them. Shane was the first to act, he moved carefully in order to get the drop on the creatures. He tripped up and drew the attention of the baby who immediately rushed him. |

#86, by ??? (Juan) on Mon 27 Apr 2009, 06:40 am They mentioned Klanganol as being one of their friends, the gang said they knew him but had no way of proving it, Klanganol being torn asunder moments prior. The armed men demanded the gang bring Klanganol's pip-boy back as proof they knew him. The group agreed and they made their way back into the Death Claws' den. |

#83, by ??? (Juan) on Tue 21 Apr 2009, 08:59 am "I think we should go another way." The gang picked the center path, but soon Death Claw's were on their tail. Humberto placed a land mine and managed to kill one, he then instructed Pablo to do the same. Pablo however not feeling quite himself botched the placing of the mine, and blew his arm off. It was only through the selfless, heroic, and down right Christ-like efforts of Augustus that Pablo was kept alive. The gang rushed into the next room and was met by men with guns... and poodle hats. |

#82, by ??? (Juan) on Tue 21 Apr 2009, 08:26 am Seeing as they were outnumbered, the gang had no choice but to go into the city's catacombs. "Yo dudes check it, Dr Lee was the guy doing all that crazy shit to me at the old vault, for no particular reason I'm assuming the city's underground is set up exactly like my vault, so follow me." Klanganol said. "Well that's all the explanation I needed." |

#81, by ??? (Juan) on Tue 21 Apr 2009, 07:12 am At some point Chaplain Brock Rockstone "He-man of the cloth", decided to start a church of Fluffy. Klanganol was given some kind of potion that made him not high, and seemingly not a racist as well. He also was able to purchase a meat hook that shall remain unnamed. |

#80, by ??? (Juan) on Tue 21 Apr 2009, 06:39 am Augustus mentioned the search for Slut and Candyass, and offered the group's services. Dr Lee and Fluffy thought it was a Jolly good idea, but would only let the gang go after they were eviscerated by Death Claws in the bowels of the city. "Seriously you are such a dick." "Huh?" "Nothing you're great." "Oh, well hey thanks amigo." And off the group went to Dr Lee's office. |

#79, by ??? (Juan) on Tue 21 Apr 2009, 06:22 am "I ain't your good woman ya fruitcake." As it turns out the woman was in fact Steve's twin sister, she didn't seem to get along with him though and was in fact not very broken up about seeing her brother taken away by authorities. Ammo was purchased, Baylee's resemblance to that lewdly named girl was brought up yet again, and some sort of Death Claw repellent was given to the group. Also Klanganol is apparently an anti-semite, who would have known? After leaving the shop Klanganol suggested we go visit the local librarian King Ill Dong for some reason*. The group was met by a bloke in yellow face, as it turns out he wasn't a horrible stereotype at all, but was in fact once a colleague of Dr Lee's that went into hiding after Dr Feelgood lost his marbles. He was in fact the father of Slut and Candyass, or rather Karen and uh... not Karen. He mentioned how his daughters, both schoolars, had escaped and were hopefully in a settlement west of the city. He begged the group to find them and make sure they were safe, in return he would give the gang an Ambassador's pass. *Author's note: Matt wanted to move the story along. |

#78, by ??? (Juan) on Mon 20 Apr 2009, 12:41 pm "Dick." Someone muttered. As they headed to another shop a group of Poodle headed gestapo apprehended Steve and took him away, hopefully to meet his end at the hands of that genetical nightmare. They stepped into another shop and were met by someone astoundingly similar to Steve, although seemingly of a more female persuation. |

#77, by ??? (Juan) on Mon 20 Apr 2009, 12:30 pm The gang headed back to Dr Lee's office and it is at this point that the group noticed how uneasy Klanganol was around Dr Lee. They asked if he was ok but he didn't respond. Dr lee bid them adieu, but not before Augustus narced on arms dealer Steve for his Illegal goings ons. Dr Lee said he would take care of him and the gang left. |

#76, by ??? (Juan) on Mon 20 Apr 2009, 12:08 pm They eventually reached Dr Lee's office. the strange man questioned them at first but allowed the group in after they mentioned they were sent by Dr Leroy. They demanded payment for the delivery, but Lee refused to unless it was approved by the town's dog mayor Fluffy. They walked towards Fluffy's chambers. "So how is my good friend Dr Leroy?" "Oh not well, I think he was a bit sick." "Oh no." "Yes you could say he was BURNING UP!" "Huh?" "You know I always thought he had a RED HOT TEMPER!" "Whu...?" "But he was very grateful when we helped him, you could say he was on his KNEES thanking us." "Wait..." "In fact you could say that I crippled him with my bat and set him ablaze!" "What!?" "It's just an expression." "Oh I see, I was worried there for a second, good thing I'm high as shit right now." |

#75, by ??? (Juan) on Sat 18 Apr 2009, 02:52 pm After noticing the group's lack of bottle caps, Steve suggested trading illicit substances for arms, but of course the local constabulary frowns upon shady dealings of this nature. The group declined the offer. Steve then took out something called a happy fun ball and offered it to Augustus. He accepted after the device’s small price was mentioned, but he was in fact duped since the highly destructive explosive needed a detonator that Steve would not be willing to part with for less than 200 caps. Augustus cursed Steve's name under his breath and the gang left. |

#74, by ??? (Juan) on Mon 06 Apr 2009, 06:26 am "Well that certainly wasn't as bad as I was expecting, for a second there I thought there was going to be a human sacrifice to some huge monster." At this point a massive creature, somewhat resembling a much larger version of a Deathclaw, was led into the arena by Dr Lee. Two prisoners were brought into the arena, they were given weapons, but they weren't much help against the gargantuan creature. The two men were beaten to a pulp and then eaten like common lunchables. "This is madness." The show was over, the group was then allowed into the city's catacombs where they would try to find the Doctor. |

#73, by ??? (Juan) on Sun 05 Apr 2009, 09:01 pm "Hello there." "Hi" "I have a package for Mr Lee." "Oh do you? Well do come in, but first please pick out one of those eight flags surrounding us." "Sure why not, that seems completely harmless." "Did I mention that four of those flags have explosives attached to them." "No I don't believe you did." "Well they do." "How about that." Pilgrim yanks the flag out of the ground, sure enough it had a grenade attached to it. He contempleted throwing it at the guards but instead threw it in the opposite direction. The grenade as it turns out was a fake, and indeed a test by the city's guards. |

#72, by ??? (Juan) on Sun 05 Apr 2009, 04:52 pm "Eat Louisville Slugger you robotic son of a..." He said bashing the robots transparent head in. Pilgrim used a stimpack and some quick thinking to get Pablo back into fighting shape. He then went on to take Mr Handy's buzzsaw. The party took the box o' drugs Doctor Leroy had intended on giving them and left the clinic before any other robots got wise to them. They headed north towards a city whose name had been forgetten by time as well as the party members themselves. |

#71, by ??? (Juan) on Sun 05 Apr 2009, 04:37 pm "You wouldn't dare hurt your master you kooky bucket o' bolts!" Said Pilgrim. The gang could've swore Mr. Handy was crying as he readied his flame thrower. "I'm sorry sir." said Mr. Handy. "Wait don't!" Mr. Handy sprayed his flamethrower, Dr Leroy was burned to a crisp and Pablo was badly injured. "Dios Mio my legs!" Screamed Pablo. Pilgrim fell backwards with the doctor's charred corpse pinning him to the ground. Baylee, Jason fired at Mr. Handy and managed to weaken him. Stephen managed to pull his pants up and tried to fire but the gun broke. However with some quick thinking Jason was able to repair Steven's gun. It is at this point that Chaplain Rockstone decided to move directly in front of the attacking robots, this location happened to be in front of everyone else's line of fire. Steven took a shot and nailed Rockstone in the arm, this did not dissuade him from asking for donations, even though it is a widely know fact that robots have never carried cash and instead opt for a complex bartering system involving bolts and robotic sexual favors. Pilgrim rolled the doctor's body away from him, grabbed Rockstone and threw him to the back of the room, somehow turning him into a vampire in the process. |

There was nothing but disgusting grunts coming from the doctor's chair. "Jesus Christ, forget him he's too busy rubbing himself until he has an orgasm, if you get my drift." |

#69, by ??? (Juan) on Mon 16 Mar 2009, 07:53 am It is at this point that Fred decided to make sweet sweet love to a nearby boulder, mocking Francis’s plight. The gang began poking holes in Francis’s story until he and his group left. A woman also wearing a Francis shirt desperately ran towards the group. She asked if they had seen her husband, a dangerous drug addict named Francis. She claimed he had escaped a rehab clinic and had been running wild ever since. The party agreed to help her, the woman handed Augustus a taser and instructed him to use it on her husband. The group quickly found the group of escaped drug addicts aggravating a Mirelurk. Augustus raised his bat and his voice. “Hey you lot! Cut that out and head back to your clinic before I loose my calm demeanor!” He shouted. The group disappointed put down their clubs and headed back towards the clinic, but one of them was grabbed and torn apart by the Mirelurk. “Which one of you is Francis?” Augustus said approaching the group. “I’m Francis, what of it you grizzled young bastard?” Francis dropped to the ground in a smoking convulsing heap, Augustus pocketed the taser and kicked Francis across the face. “Pick up your pal and take him back with you.” Augustus instructed. They eventually reached a hospital that had seen better days. They were met by Travis the head Doctor. He explained that Francis likes making up stories and running off to cause havoc. He went on to say that Travis and his wife had two children they had abandoned. He explained that Francis was himself a vault dweller and had been exposed to hallucinogenic drugs for most of his life. “Candy?” Father Brock said. “… No thanks.” Said the Doctor. The doctor then went on to ask the gang for a favor, a colleague of his was working on a detox drug, but needed more drugs to conduct his experiments. He asked the gang to deliver the drugs, but they couldn’t help but wonder why a rehab clinic would have a ready supply of recreational drugs. He revealed that he deals drugs to run his hospital. The gang was taken aback by the sheer ridiculousness of the scheme. He went on to reveal that he regularly drugged his patients. He told the party they were welcome to stay for the night. The group headed towards the hospital’s cafeteria. Jason examined the food and stated that it hadn’t been drugged, however he noticed something peculiar about the sprinklers. He took apart the sprinkler and found some sort of yellow substance in a vial. A buttlertron robot harassed them and took the vial. The gang took another vial from a sprinkler in the hall and decided to pay Doctor Travis a visit. “Travis we need to talk.” Augustus said knocking on the door with his Louisville slugger. “It’s late come back in the morning.” “I’m afraid this can’t wait, it’s an emergency.” Travis groaned and went to open the door. “What is so damned important!?” Augustus reached back and pulverized Travis’s kneecap. “Start talking old man or the other kneecap goes! What in Crom’s name is going on here!?” “I don’t know what’re you’re talking about this is a rehab clinic!” Augustus reached back again but Travis activated a device around his neck. Alarms start blaring. “My robotic goons will be here to take care of the lot of you any second now.” “You sunuva… “ Augustus grabbed Travis and held the bat against his throat. “Pablo, Humberto toss your landmines into the hallway and shut the door!” The robots rushed towards the room flamethrowers at the ready. |

#68, by ??? (Juan) on Mon 16 Mar 2009, 07:53 am While on their trek back the gang was assaulted by an incompetent bandit wearing a cowboy hat. He hurled insults and obscenities at the party goading them into rushing towards him. As Pablo ran he felt something click beneath his boot. He quickly identified it as a landmine and just as quickly disarmed it and continued his run at the attacker. The bandit took a shot and hit Pablo in the thigh. Jason then fired his rifle and took the bandit’s head off. Pablo collected the rest of the land mines and handed half to Humberto since inexplicably accented janitors stick together. The party took a box from the bandit, it contained a note with the words “IOU 20 bottle caps”. More interestingly however was the fact that the bandit was shackled to a spike driven into the ground. Shots rang out from one of the abandoned building as the gang ran for their lives. The drugged out vault dweller, who from this point will be identified as Fred, ransacked the dead bandit as he ran, taking his clothes and his weapon. They managed to avoid any harm and reached the playground. The gang demanded their payment but the children claimed to have had their bottle caps taken by the very bandits the group had just encountered. The gang disillusioned departed but not before receiving another crudely drawn map from the children, this one detailed the location of their supposed leader Francis. The party decided to follow Pablo’s map and make their way to one of the cities, they came across what appeared to be a small suburban neighborhood. Augustus and Pablo checked one of the houses and were met by an ancient woman pointing a pistol at them. “Place the gun down lest you feel the wrath of my club you old broad.” Augustus said. The woman fired. “Shit! Let’s get the funk out of here.” Augustus said diving out of the house. The party gathered and was surrounded by several armed old people. Alarms started blaring as the old folks moved in. Augustus, spinning a wild tale of prune delivery, calmed the old people. They went on to tell the party that their children had left for supplies awhile ago and had yet to return. One of their kids happened to be named Francis. |

#66, by ??? (Juan) on Sat 14 Mar 2009, 11:54 am "Alright you ugly f*ck nice and easy!" Augustus shouted. The Mutant stopped in his tracks, while Jason snuck up behind him. "Hand over your cash or taste my armored fist you abomination! I'm building a church Motherf*cker!" The priest yelled while brandishing his weapon. The Mutant was compelled by his eloquence and tossed over his bag of bottle caps. Augustus noticed several bloodied bags at the end of the crater. On of the bags was moving. "What's in the bag?" Augustus said. "..." "What's in the bag!? What's in the bag!?" Jason snapped the collar on the Mutant. He stood at attention as the collar took hold of him, he scanned the wasteland and ran back to the children. |

#65, by ??? (Juan) on Sat 14 Mar 2009, 11:36 am "I say, why it is a poor blowfly attached to a dead mole rat, what sort of cruel individuals would do this to one of god's creatures?" "Why don't you help out that poor devil by striking him with your cudgel?" "Capital Idea my good chum!" The Super Mutant struck the blowfly and with the force of the blow the mole rat was lifted and the explosive triggered. The first Mutant was killed instantly while his friend simply prayed for the sweet release of death. |

#64, by ??? (Juan) on Sat 14 Mar 2009, 11:29 am The gang awoke in a daze to be met by sound of laughing children. The little creeps from the previous night burst out of the ground much like their sandworm ancestors did in years past. They regaled the party with a tale of international intrigue which resulted in them asking the berserker gang of vault dwellers for a favor. They presented the team with a map, a mind controlling collar, and the promise of more bottle caps. How could the troupe resist? Their weary hearts still yearned for adventure and bottle caps, despite not being aware of their monetary value. And so they were off to retrieve another Super Mutant for the precious children, after all they are the future. The gang happened upon a massive crater patrolled by three Super Mutants, who as we all know are the noblest folk in all the land and should never be harmed even while they're ripping your arms off. Two of the Super Mutants walked across the crater while the third one manned a massive gatling gun. As the gang likes to do they split off into two separate factions and would attack the encampment from opposite sides. Team A composed of Augustus Pilgrim, the Chaplin and Jason would attack from the right, and Team B, composed of Pablo, Humberto, and Baylee, would take the left. Team A moved quietly around the crater while Team B came across a mutated Blowfly, a mole rat, and a brilliant plan in the making. Pablo struck the Mole Rat and killed it while Baylee tackled the Blowfly and restrained it. The proverbial light bulb went off in their collective minds, and so a plan worthy of McGuiver was hatched but some rope would be required. Pablo ran after Team A and killed a Rad Dog along the way, which the chaplain was compelled to bury. He begged Jason for rope, and although he was a hard sell he eventually gave in and forked over the rope. Pablo ran back and the clever scheme would take form. Cleverly they tied one end of the rope to the Blowfly while the other end would be cleverly attached to the dead mole rat. They pushed the contraption near the crater and Humberto would place a grenade beneath the Mole rat. The blowfly was let go and the gang ran away to take cover behind a building. Team A in the meantime examined the collar given to them by the children. Augustus, using SCIENCE! explained the usage of the device to Jason. After some convincing Augustus talked Jason into sneaking behind the designated Super Mutant while he was distracted by the trap. He would in turn attach the mind control collar while Augustus and the priest commandeered the gatling gun and asked for donations respectively. |
